On June 20, 2023, Director of the State Enterprise NIISK Gennady Farenyuk took part in the conference "Get Ready for the Future – Entrepreneurs to Face Changes", held in Warsaw, Republic Of Poland.
Conference organizer – Institute of Construction Technologies (Instytut Techniki Budowlanej – ITB), Warsaw.
The conference was dedicated to consideration and solution of problems faced by enterprises of the Polish construction industry. The conference covered a wide range of issues from investment to artificial intelligence in construction, which will shape the development trends of the Polish construction industry in the coming years. The emphasis was also placed on changes in the EU regulation on the provision of construction products on the market and innovations in the activities of EOTA (European Organization for Technical Assessment). The conference discussed issues related to sustainable construction, photovoltaic systems, climate change, etc.

Gennady Farenyuk, Director of the State Enterprise NIISK, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, made a report at the conference on the topic: "Restoration of Ukraine – Opportunities for the Construction Industry". In his report, he considered the current state of the construction industry of Ukraine, prerequisites to be created for reconstruction, features of technical regulation, and the use of innovative technologies in the reconstruction and restoration of damaged buildings and structures.
During the conference, Gennady Farenyuk took part in discussions to exchange ideas, establish new contacts, and receive proposals for joint participation in projects related to the restoration of damaged buildings.
Taking into account the urgent need for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, the restoration of its economic potential and the use of European approaches to construction in the reconstruction of buildings, participation of Gennady Farenyuk in the Conference was an important step for the exchange of experience and the launch of relevant initiatives.
