Preparation of highly qualified scientific personnel is performed for construction industry

For last 50 years the institute post graduate has prepared about 200 Ph.D. in the following directions:

Building structures; Structures theory and testing; Mechanics of grounds, bases, foundations and underground structures; Economy, organization and planning of construction.

At present it prepares students in the following directions:

05.23.01 "Building structures, buildings and facilities";

05.23.02 "Bases and foundations";

05.23.05 "Building materials and products".

Post-graduate students are managed by leading scientists, Ph.D. and Doctors in Engineering Science.

The Institute has a specialized academic council for awarding a scientific degree of Ph.D. in Engineering Science in "Building structures, buildings and facilities" and "Bases and foundations".

For last 5 years 12 post-graduate students have defended their thesis for Ph.D. degree.

The thesis which are defended successfully are as follows:

“Work of reinforced concrete structures reinforcement connections under the seismic influence”.

“Work of landslide protection structures in conditions of existing build-up of Chernivtsi”;

“Effective concretes for pre-stressed reinforced concrete structures with heat-hardenable reinforcement”;

“Calculation of drilled and inclined pile base deformations under vertical static compressive loads considering the non-linear characteristics of grounds deformation” and others.
